Gold Coast – Race 2 1:15pm AEDT
Stanley Park has now recorded five wins from his ten race starts and has four victories from his past six appearances at the track. This is easily the toughest test of his racing career to date, but he is a horse with plenty of upside and Michael Walker should be able to control the race from the outset. $5.50 is well and truly over the odds.
Gold Coast – Race 6 3.35pm AEDT
Manicure has always been a horse with plenty of potential and she returned from a lengthy spell with an outstanding win in the Nudgee Quality at Doomben last start. She should take good improvement from that run and, if she does that, she will go to a level that will be tough for her rivals to match.
Gold Coast – Race 7 4.15pm AEDT
It is no surprise that Outback Barbie has been extremely well-supported since the Magic Millions Classic barrier draw. She has been a horse plagued by bad barrier draws throughout her racing career and she was forced to get a long way back last start in the Vo Rogue Plate. James McDonald will be able to settle her closer to the speed in this contest and she is very well-placed to return to winning form.
Gold Coast – Race 8 5:00pm AEDT
Dubious is the horse to beat in what is an open edition of the Magic Millions Classic. His win in the Breeders Plate last year was excellent and he should plenty of toughness to win at Eagle Farm last start after being caught wide early. He maps to get a dream run in transit from barrier seven and Ciaron Maher will now have him at peak fitness.
