Australia v India
Even with Peter Handscomb named in the final side over Mitch Marsh, the Aussies are well under the odds ahead of today’s Test. They’ve caught a break with India’s Prithvi Shaw going down injured, but Australia will still have their hands full with Virat Kohli as well as Shaw’s replacement, Murali Vijay. It’s a huge test for the Aussies, but if the likes of Usman Khawaja and Nathan Lyon fail, there’s a lot left to be desired.
St. Louis Blues v Edmonton Oilers
This may not be the most exciting game between two franchises that sit well outside the Wild Card picture in the Western Conference, but that isn’t to say there isn’t some value on offer. Both of these sides rank in the bottom 10 in the league in goals scored this year, which should make today’s meeting in St. Louis a fairly low-scoring affair.
Sydney Kings v Perth Wildcats
Perhaps no other team in the league could argue with the Kings’ strong 6-2 record as the home favourites. Perth might be the exemption though, as the Wildcats have won four of their past seven games as the away underdog to sit atop the NBL ladder. Sitting 15-points clear in first place, this looks like a great price to jump on Perth for what you could hardly call an upset.
