Flemington – Race 2 12.50pm AEDT
Lucky For All was finally able to return to winning form at Caulfield last start and he should now be at peak fitness. He still has the scope to improve on his last start effort and he gives the impression that the long Flemington straight will suit him. John Allen should get the run of the race just behind the leaders and there is no reason he can’t make it back-to-back wins.

It has been a long time between wins for Spectroscope, but he is still well and truly over the odds at his current price of $16. His first-up effort at Royal Randwick was good and he is a horse that generally improves second-up. He has the benefit of William Buick in the saddle and Godolphin are absolutely flying.
Flemington – Race 5 2:50pm AEDT
Libran has been knocking on the door this campaign and he does look very well-placed in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes. He absolutely savaged the line after getting too far back in the run in The Metropolitan and he made up ground against the pattern of the day in the Moonee Valley Gold Cup. Flemington suits and this is his chance to return to winning form.

There is no doubt that Blair House is the horse to beat in the Mackinnon Stakes. He was only narrowly denied by Benbatl in the Ladbrokes Stakes and that form was franked when Benbatl finished second behind Winx in the Ladbrokes Cox Plate. A repeat of that effort gives Blair House a genuine edge over the rest of this field.
