Dallas Cowboys vs Tennessee Titans
Dallas is pretty much the definition of a dichotomy when looking at their home and away record. At home they are 3-0 head to head and 2-1 while away from Jerryworld they are a poor 0-4 straight up and 1-3 against the spread. Thankfully this primetime showdown is at their palace in Arlington and they enter this game as favourites over a Titans side fresh off a bye week. Unfortunately for Tennessee, they are enduring similar struggles away from home and that is why I am taking the Cowboys to win a game that, let’s be honest, by the end of it is going to be playing a major second fiddle to the Melbourne Cup.
Crvena Zvezda vs Liverpool
Aussie Milos Degenek is getting regular Champions League football for the club otherwise known as Red Star Belgrade. Unfortunately for the Serbian side, they have not enjoyed this campaign with a couple of big losses, including a 4-0 defeat at Anfield two weeks ago. They did manage to hold Napoli to a 0-0 draw when the Italian side came to town but Liverpool present their own challenge here. It would be a shock to see Liverpool significantly understrength here, despite their busy schedule, and they have the firepower to come away with a victory.
Inter Milan vs Barcelona
The status of Lionel Messi for this game is still up in the air but the boost the Catalan’s will have received just from seeing their star man back in training will be more than enough of a boost going into this game. Barca won the reverse leg a fortnight ago at the Nou Camp and could secure progression to the knockout phase with a win here, depending on the result in the other Group B match, a draw may even be enough. That being said, a victory will maintain their perfect record so far and all but ensure top spot and a much more favourable draw in the Round of 16.
