Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter has called on his charges to be ruthless when they take on Seychelles in back-to-back matches of Africa Cup of Nations qualifying.
South Africa will host Seychelles at the FNB Stadium on Saturday. They will then travel to the Island nation for Tuesday’s return leg.
Bafana sit on four points along with Libya at the top of Group E and Baxter is adamant that winning the double-header will put them with a good chance of qualifying for the next-year’s tournament in Cameroon.
“We want six points. We will not underestimate anybody and we will not because we have done it some many times in the past and it cost us a place,” Baxter told SABC.
“We want the six points and we will make sure that we have them. Whoever is in the field, we will play as well as we can and we are going to beat them.
“We will not underestimate them, we have to perform and we know that very well.“
