Bendigo – Race 1 12.00pm AEDT
It has been a long time between race starts for Coherence and he will take improvement from this run, but he is a horse that does have serious talent and it would not surprise to see him produce a forward showing first-up. This really isn’t the strongest field and the $18 currently on offer is well and truly over the odds.
Bendigo – Race 4 1.45pm AEDT
Subraise finished within two lengths of Amphitrite at Flemington last start and she has since gone on to win the Group 2 Edward Manifold Stakes. All the form around Subraise this campaign has been very strong and on exposed form he does look to have a genuine class edge over the rest of this field. He is deserving of his position as a short-priced favourite.
Bendigo – Race 7 3.30pm AEDT
Truly High found the line nicely to finish second behind Steel Prince at Mornington last start and the field he meets this afternoon isn’t much tougher. He doesn’t win out of turn, but there is no fitter horse in this field and he can outstay his rivals in what should be a genuine slugfest. He should start shorter than the current odds on offer.
Warwick Farm – Race 6 3:20pm AEDT
Jen Rules beat the talented Mizzy to win on debut at Canterbury and she returned to the races with an unlucky third at Warwick Farm. The form coming out of that race has been very strong and she maps to get a much better run in transit in this contest. She is well-placed to return to winning form.
