RankTeamWeek 1 RankSuper Bowl OddsLast Week…This Week…
1Los Angeles Rams

$9.00 @OAK: Took care of business at home against the Raiders finishing strong. vs ARI: At home against a struggling Cardinals team, they are the biggest favourites of Week 2
2New England Patriots

$6.50vs. HOU: Who said the Patriots are lacking receivers? The Patriots did what they do best last week – win at home with Brady and Rob Gronkowski. The defence also played surprisingly well in their first game without Matt Patricia, holding the Texans to just two third down conversions.@JAC: As far as rematches go, this is it. Tom Brady knows full well nothing will come easy in the air, just like in last year’s AFC Championship Game. The lack of running backs also makes life tough after Jeremy Hill’s season-ending injury and Rex Burkhead’s concussion. Watch this space for a potential Orleans Darkwa signing.
3Minnesota Vikings

$8.00 vs SF: Their defence carried them past the 49ers with a dominant performance.@ GB:  A chance for early bragging rights over the Packers with a trip to Lambeau Field.
4Kansas City Chiefs

$31.00@LAC: The Chiefs made short work of the Chargers under-strength defence. Patrick Mahomes wasn’t asked to do too much, but the second-year starter still wound up with four touchdowns next to his name. Mind you, it’s hard to struggle with Tyreek Hill as your go-to receiver. The speedster caught for 169-yards and two scores Kansas City’s 10-point win.@PIT: Back-to-back road games are tough, but the Chiefs will find heart in the fact the Steelers drew with the Browns last week. Pressure, pressure, pressure. Force Ben Roethlisberger to move out of the pocket, and shut down James Conner’s run lanes. The Steelers turned the ball over six times last week, so expect plenty of blitzes.
5Jacksonville Jaguars

$13.00@NYG: The defence picked up where it left off last season, although Saquon Barkley did gash the Jaguars for 106-yards and  a score. Still, Jacksonville’s secondary came up big when it counted, picking off Eli Manning in the fourth quarter to basically seal the deal.vs. NE: The Patriots might lack receivers, but the Jaguars still gave up 111-yards to Odell Beckham Jr. last week. Rob Gronkowski will be the sole focus this week, but so will Jacksonville’s running game. After Leonard Fournette sustained a hamstring injury, the majority of the carries should fall T.J. Yeldon’s way.
6Carolina Panthers

$31.00 vs DAL: Just 16 points on offence but the other side of the ball was excellent limiting a static Cowboys side. @ ATL: A solid test for the defence with the Atlanta Falcons next on the schedule.
7Philadelphia Eagles

$10.00vs PHI:  It was far from pretty (or bearable really) but they got the job done in the opener despite being undermanned.@ TB:  A trip to Tampa where they will need to keep their cool, literally and figuratively.
8Green Bay Packers

$12.00 vs CHI: They got the mother of all scares with Aaron Rodgers getting injured but pulled off a huge comeback.vs MIN:  One of the best games of the week when they host Minnesota, make the effort to watch this one.
9Pittsburgh Steelers

$13.00@CLE: Plenty of ‘goods’ and ‘bads’ to take away from last week. James Conner filled in nicely for the absent Le’Veon Bell, but is this finally the demise of Ben Roethlisberger? He deserves a mulligan after his three interception game in rain-soaked Cleveland, but that was still a game Pittsburgh easily should have won.vs. KC: Heinz Field is just what the Steelers need right now. They’ll have their hands full with Tyreek Hill and Kareem Hunt though, two big-time red zone specialists. Speaking of the red zone, look for the Steelers to get Antonio Brown and Juju Smith-Schuster involved in scoring situations more this week.
 10New Orleans Saints

$18.00 vs TB: Drew Brees threw for almost 500 yards & put up 40 points… and they still lost. vs CLE: Cleveland are coming to town, should be easy right?
11Los Angeles Chargers

$26.00vs. KC: The interior defence fell apart last week with Joey Bosa absent last week, and the running struggled to click into gear. Overall it wasn’t a terrible performance from the Chargers, but really, that’s been the common theme forever, hasn’t it?@BUF: There’s no better way to get things back on track than with a game against the Bills. Buffalo’s defence was torched by the Ravens last week, looking slow to react to even the most simple misdirection plays. This should be a game Melvin Gordon laps up.
12Atlanta Falcons

$26.00 vs DAL: Note to the Falcons coaches, “you have Julio Jones, USE HIM!” vs CAR: A home opener against a Panthers side that also has playoff aspirations.
13Washington Redskins

$81.00 @ ARI: Spent most of the game in cruise control against Arizona, literally nothing to worry about after the opening kickoff. vs IND: They should receive a much sterner test from the Colts.
14Baltimore Ravens

$31.00vs. BUF: How much stock can you put into a win over Buffalo? Either way, Baltimore’s running back committee looked great last week, while Joe Flacco broke through with a huge 236-yard, three touchdown performance. Newly acquired receivers Willie Snead, John Brown and Michael Crabtree didn’t have a huge day, but the Ravens will be happy knowing all three contributed on the scoreboard.@CIN: It’s a Friday morning rivalry game up next for Baltimore, and they’ll need to rely on their receivers a little more this week. Cincinnati’s defence made life difficult for the Colts running game last Monday, while also rattling Andrew Luck around in the pocket. This will be a big test for the Ravens new-look offensive line.
15San Francisco 49ers

$41.00 @ MIN: Jimmy GQ suffered his first loss as a starter and did not look good. vs DET: Back at home, they host Detroit who looked even worse.
16Tampa Bay Buccaneers

$61.00 @ NO: A huge jump on the back of this outstanding performance. Fitzmagic is alive and well but that secondary is very concerning.vs PHI:  Just the small matter of the Super Bowl Champions coming to town.
17Chicago Bears

$61.00 @ GB: You have to admire what you saw there despite the loss. Khalil Mack is going to go off this season. vs SEA: Another primetime game that they would have to feel confident in. Expect a big game from Howard & Cohen.
18New York Jets

$101.00@DET: The Jets third-quarter last week was nothing short of remarkable against the Lions. The same can be said for the defence, who intercepted Matthew Stafford on four separate occasions. As far as rookie debuts go, Sam Darnold’s went off without a hitch. It’s also very encouraging to see players like Isaiah Crowell and Quincy Enunwa contributing with big numbers early.vs. MIA: Tough to get a read on the Dolphins, but it mightn’t matter if the Jets defence shows up ready to play again. Ryan Tannehill threw two picks last week in a win over the Titans. If Jamal Adams and Darryl Roberts can contribute with big numbers in the secondary once again, this could easily be another Jets blowout.
19Houston Texans

$26.00@NE: DeShaun Watson didn’t exactly return with a bang last week. The Texans took a conservative approach during their trip to Foxboro, relying heavily on the running game instead. Lamar Miller made that work, but the Texans defence didn’t. Houston managed just two sacks on Tom Brady and looked mediocre defending the pass.@TEN: A second-straight road game won’t be easy, and this time it holds AFC South ramifications. Tennessee’s defence was touted as one of the best entering the season, but expect the Texans to stretch it out down the sidelines with DeAndre Hopkins. Improving on last week’s inefficiency on third down is a must.
20New York Giants

$67.00 vs JAX: Saquon Barkley got his first career touchdown and you can almost pass off the loss considering the opponent.@ DAL: They’re playing the Cowboys so of course it’s the featured game of the weekend, even if both sides are middle of the road at best.
21Cincinnati Bengals

$67.00@IND: The defence was killer last week for the Bengals, at least when it came to defending the run. The Colts managed only 75-yards on the ground, which in turn forced Andrew Luck to attempt 53 passes. The Bengals did a great job of rushing the pocket, rattling Luck all game long. It also appears running back Joe Mixon is well on his way to a 1,000 yard season.vs. BAL: That run defence will come in handy this week against the Ravens. Baltimore enjoyed a cruisy game against the Bills, but they’ll also have to factor in A.J. Green, who looked lethal over the middle last week. Cincy just need to watch the penalties, they gave up eight last week to keep the Colts in the game, including losing key safety Shawn Williams to an ejection.
22Dallas Cowboys

$41.00 @ CAR: That was about as poor of a performance as they could have mustered on offence.vs NYG:  See: #20, New York Giants
23Indianapolis Colts

$81.00vs. CIN: It was great to see Andrew Luck under center again, and despite a handful of rough hits, his 319-yard, two touchdown performance was right on the money. Indy’s ground game was far from where we expected it to be though, and the same goes for wide receiver T.Y. Hilton. The four-time Pro Bowlers longest reception of the day was 13-yards.@WAS: Indy’s defence registered a pair of sacks, an interception and a couple of fumbles last week, and the Colts will need that kind of effort again if they are to slow down Alex Smith and the Redskins. The last time Indianapolis traveled to Washington was 2010, making this rare match up all the more intriguing.
24Oakland Raiders

$151.00vs. SEA: It really depends which was you look at it. On one hand, Case Keenum played the game of his life last week against the Seahawks, and on the other, he threw three picks. What matters is the Broncos got the win, and Demaryius Thomas still looks like a dangerous option down the sidelines alongside a very underrated running game.@DEN: The Broncos are just as bigger mystery as the Raiders, but one thing we do know is how explosive Denver’s running backs can be. We also know badly  Oakland’s defence struggled against Todd Gurley last week, which causes plenty of concern for the Khalil Mack-less Raiders interior line.
25Miami Dolphins

$101.00vs. TEN: A win and one four-hour storm delay later, we’re still no closer to knowing just what this Dolphins team is all about. On the plus side, Kenyan Drake played as advertised, but Ryan Tannehill’s mechanics might still need some tweaking after throwing a pair of picks during his return.@NYJ: We received a taste of what the Jets are all about on defence last week, and it doesn’t look good for Miami. If the Dolphins are to win, they’ll need to target someone other than Kenny Stills in the passing game. It’s already predictable, and a waste of what Danny Amendola has to offer.
26Denver Broncos

$41.00vs. SEA: It really depends which was you look at it. On one hand, Case Keenum played the game of his life last week against the Seahawks, and on the other, he threw three picks. What matters is the Broncos got the win, and Demaryius Thomas still looks like a dangerous option down the sidelines alongside a very underrated running game.vs. OAK: The Broncos could very realistically start the season 2-0. Their pass rush is no doubt superior to Oakland’s, as is their wide receiver corp, and perhaps even, their quarterback. We’ll reserve judgement on Keenum for now, but last week’s risk/reward strategy was encouraging from head coach Vance Joseph.
27Detroit Lions

$81.00 vs NYJ: If you just look at their opening 20 seconds, it was an exceptional debut for Matt Patricia. Beyond that it was an absolute meltdown. @ SF: A trip to the West Coast awaits as they look to put the nightmare behind them.
28Cleveland Browns

$81.00vs. PIT: The good news is Jarvis Landry looks great, and so does the secondary. The jury is still out on Tyrod Taylor however, and it remains to be seen if the Browns have what it takes to play a full four-quarters of mistake free football after last week’s close, and very winnable game.@NO: A trip to the Superdome awaits, which doesn’t exactly favour the Browns. The Saints have a point to prove after last week’s upset against Tampa Bay, and like a few others this week, Cleveland’s unfamiliarity with the venue plays against them. The Browns haven’t traveled to New Orleans since 2010.
29Tennessee Titans

$61.00@MIA: Playing during a storm is one thing, throwing two interceptions is another. Marcus Mariota is on track to play this weekend after sustaining an arm injury, which is good news if the Titans wish to right this ship. Hold your breath on the defence though, the pass rush was nearly non-existent last week.vs. HOU: The ground game needs to find life this week for the Titans. Dion Lewis and Derrick Henry were way too quiet last week, combining for less than 100-yards and a score.
30Seattle Seahawks

$51.00 @ DEN: It was an exciting finish in Denver but the dominant Seattle days are well and truly done. @ CHI: A chance to rebound on the national stage in Chicago.
31Arizona Cardinals

$201.00 vs WAS: 6 points… at home @ LAR: 2 TD underdogs at Los Angeles, good luck with that.
32Buffalo Bills

$301.00@BAL: The inflating Super Bowl odds say it all, or do they? The season couldn’t have started any worse for the Bills last week, and it appears things aren’t about to improve in a hurry. Quarterback Nathan Peterman has been benched, and in steps Josh Allen for his first career start.vs. LAC: The Bills faithful will still turn up in force ahead of this game, but Buffalo’s only hopes lie in LeSean McCoy’s hands. Sean McDermott’s star running back received only seven hand-offs last week, good for a measly 22-yards. McCoy, as well as Kelvin Benjamin are the two remaining stars on this team, and Buffalo’s offense need to get them involved in a hurry.
