Flemington – Race 4 2.15pm AEST
Brutal has recorded two wins from as many starts and there is no doubt that he is a potential star. His last start win at The Valley wasn’t as dominant as his debut victory, but he gave the impression that he will enjoy the step-up to 1400 metres. He still has plenty of upside and he can continue the unbeaten start to his career.
Flemington – Race 7 4.10pm AEST
Humidor beat a similar field to this to win the Memsie Stakes last start at Caulfield and he is even better suited in the Makybe Diva Stakes this afternoon. Flemington is the ideal track for him, he has recorded four wins from seven starts at a mile and he won this race in impressive fashion 12 months ago. He will need even luck in running from the inside barrier, but he is the class horse in this field.
Flemington – Race 8 4.50pm AEST
Native Solider could hardly have been more impressive in the McNeil Stakes at Caulfield last start and a repeat of that effort would make him extremely tough to beat in the Danehill Stakes. He needs to prove that win was no fluke, but he has always had plenty of potential and this isn’t the toughest Danehill Stakes.
Flemington – Race 9 5:30pm AEST
Furrion has recorded four wins from his five race starts and he returned to the races with a very comfortable win at Geelong. There is no doubt that he still has the scope to improve on that performance and he has far more upside than the rest of this field. Flemington seems ideal for him and he can win again.
